Overview
Get connected to TAMU_WIFI by installing a security certificate on your personal device. You'll need to install a WiFi certificate on each device you want to use on campus. Set up your phone, laptop, and tablet now for automatic, secure access to TAMU_WIFI as soon as you arrive.
Please Note:
- macOS interfaces vary by version. Menu layouts and settings may look different from the screenshots in this guide, but core functionality remains the same.
Instructions
- Open Safari and navigate to: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/05075/TAMU_WiFi/. The onboarding process requires Safari. If Safari is not your default browser, copy and paste the enrollment link into Safari before proceeding.
- Select Join Now to download the TAMU_WIFI Installer.

- A window containing the TAMU_WIFI installer should appear when the download finishes. If it does not, check the folder where you downloaded the installer to and look for a file that says WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper_TAMU_WiFi.dmg. Once this folder is open, double-click on the SecureW2 icon.

- You may be prompted to confirm that you want to open the app. Click Open to proceed. If you are not prompted for this, proceed to the next step.
- Click Next to proceed with installing the profile in your System Preferences. Click the link in the window for a video walk-through of the next steps: Video walkthrough of installation on macOS Sequoia and above

- Enter your TAMU NetID and NetID Password on the window that appears and click Next.
- Once the application finishes configuring, it will prompt to install a network profile. Your Mac’s System Settings may automatically open to the Profiles or Device Management page.
- Double-click the downloaded configuration profile.

- Or, click Install in the window that appears.

- Use your device credentials to confirm you want to make this change.
- Wait for the installer to connect and authenticate.
- The installer may ask to access your keychain. If it does, select Always Allow.

- You'll see a Joined message at the end of the installation process. Click Done.

Your computer should now be configured to connect to TAMU_WIFI.
NOTE: After the installation, you may eject and delete WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper_TAMU_WiFi.dmg.
