Overview
Get connected to TAMU_WIFI by installing a security certificate on your personal device. You'll need to install a WiFi certificate on each device you want to use on campus. Set up your phone, laptop, and tablet now for automatic, secure access to TAMU_WIFI as soon as you arrive.
Please Note:
- iOS interfaces vary by version and device. Menu layouts and settings may look different from the screenshots in this guide, but core functionality remains the same.
- This process includes downloading a profile on your personal device. This profile adds a secure WiFi certificate to your device. That certificate allows your iPhone to connect to TAMU_WiFi automatically without requiring you to log in repeatedly. For more information, please see the FAQ: Security and Privacy section
Instructions
- Open Safari and navigate to: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/05075/TAMU_WiFi/. The onboarding process requires Safari. If Safari is not your default browser, copy and paste the enrollment link into Safari before proceeding, or scan the QR Code.

- Sign in with your NetID and password.

- Click on Join Now, then Open if prompted to open your web browser.

- Click on Allow to download the configuration profile.

- If prompted to choose a device, select the device on which you are installing TAMU_WIFI, and you'll receive a confirmation that the profile has been downloaded.


- Navigate to your device Settings > Profile Downloaded. If it does not appear, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management to view the downloaded profile.

- Click on the TAMU_WIFI Profile > Install to continue. Enter your device passcode if prompted.
- Click Install, then click on Install again on the pop-up.

- At this point, the profile should be installed.

- Go back to your WiFi settings and select TAMU_WIFI from the list. Once you see the blue checkmark, the setup process is complete, and you can browse the internet via TAMU_WIFI.
