Overview
This article will instruct on how to set up email forwarding for Exchange emails via Outlook Web App (OWA).
You will need:
- Your NetID
- Your NetID password
NOTE: Some Texas A&M Health affiliates may not be able to forward their Exchange emails to another account due to HIPAA regulations
Instructions
- Login to owa.tamu.edu
- The username is your NetID@tamu.edu
- The password is your NetID password
- Select the gear button in the top right corner
- Select Options
- In the left menu, select Mail
- Under mail, select Inbox and Sweep Rules
- Select the plus sign under Inbox Rules
- Options for New Inbox Rule:
- Under name select a name for the rule
- Under "When the message arrives, and it matches all of these conditions" select "It was sent or received"
- Select "Send to"
- Then type in the exchange email address next to "It was sent to..."
- Then under "Do all of the following" select "Forward, redirect, or send" then select "Forward the message to..."
- Then type in where you would like your message to be sent next to "Forward the message to..."
- Select save
