Listserv - Requesting a New List

Overview

Requesting a new Listserv list can be done via the list request form at https://listserv.tamu.edu/listserv/request/. Once submitted, the request will be reviewed by Technology Services personnel and, if appropriate, created.

Requirements

For a new list to be created, the following requirements must be met:

  • The list must be requested by an email address ending in a recognized domain of a Texas A&M University System campus or agency (tamu.edu, tamug.edu, etc.)
  • At least one owner of the list must have an email address ending in a recognized domain of a Texas A&M University System campus or agency.
  • The list must not be a duplicate of an existing list or serve the same audience and purpose as an existing list.

Instructions

  1. Go to https://listserv.tamu.edu/listserv/request/
  2. Enter your NetID credentials if prompted
  3. Fill out the list request form
  4. Click Send List Request

You will receive an email containing a link to create your list. This link is only accessible by listserv administrators and should be ignored.
