Overview
Outlook is available on most types of computers and mobile devices. Each version of Outlook contains a slightly different set of features and often has slight differences in configuration as well.

In the instructions referenced below, use the following values:

Troubleshooting
Error: Outlook for Windows continuously prompts for credentials
Resolution:
- Close all Outlook windows.
- Press Win+R, type
cmd
, press Enter.
- Type
gpupdate /force
, press Enter.
- Open Credential Manager.
- Type Credential Manager in the taskbar search box and select Credential Manager Control Panel.
- Select Windows Credentials.
- Remove all Windows Credentials associated with @tamu.edu or @exchange.tamu.edu.
- Remove the virtualapp\didilogical and SSO_POP_Device credentials.
- Return to the open Command Prompt window.
- Verify that the user and computer policies have updated, and reboot if prompted.
- Open Outlook.
- When prompted, sign in using your NetID@tamu.edu and NetID password, and see if the prompts for credentials continue.
- If the prompt does not continue to reappear, reboot and verify that Outlook does not continue to prompt for credentials after reboot.
- If the prompt does continue to reappear, contact Help Desk Central at 979.845.8300, and ask them check to see if your account has been locked out due to multiple invalid password attempts.
- If prompt continues to reappears and your account has not been locked, Help Desk Central technicians will need to create a support ticket and escalate the issue.
