Overview
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for adding faculty members / instructors to Compass. If you try to enter a faculty member / instructor's UIN on SSASECT, SWASECT, or SWASUBJ and receive the *ERROR* Invalid ID message, then it most likely that the faculty member / instructor does not exist in Compass. You can confirm this by performing a name search for the faculty member / instructor on the SOAIDEN page in Compass.
To remedy the situation, the department representative should contact the Office of the Registrar and provide the faculty member / instructor's full name, date of birth, and UIN. These data points are needed to create a new faculty member / instructor in Compass.
