Microsoft 365 Installation Guide

1. Go to https://www.office.com/

2. Login with your TAMUQ email and password.

3. On the top right corner, click on Install Office, then click on Other install options.

4. Under Apps and Devices, click Install Office.

5. Your installer will start to download. Once downloading is completed, click the installer to open.

6. Installation process will pop up, click Continue.

7. You will be asked to read the Terms of the Software License Agreement. Click Agree to continue.

8. Select the destination of your file. Click install for all users of this computer and continue.

9. The installation will proceed and you will be prompted to enter your MAC Credentials then click Install Software.

10. When it is completed, you will see the installation was successful, click Close.

11. Go to your applications folder to see your installed Microsoft 365 applications.

1. Go to https://www.office.com/

2. Sign in with your TAMUQ credentials (Example: first.lastname@qatar.tamu.edu)

3. On the top right corner of your screen homepage, click Install Office.

4. A dropdown box will display as shown below, select Other install options.

5. Click on Install Office.

6. Click on Run to Install.

7. Click Yes to begin the installation.

8. Stay online and wait for the installation to complete.

9. Click on Close when it shows you’re all set! Microsoft 365 is installed now.

Now you can use Office on your device.

1. Go to Play Store/Google Play and search for 'Office 365 for mobile'.

2. Click on any desired Office app (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.) and install.

3. After installation, click on Open to complete the setup.

Note: This process is applicable on any Microsoft 365 applications, you will only need to enter your TAMUQ credentials once and you will be automatically logged in into other Microsoft 365 applications.

The new Office Mobile app combines Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with exclusive features to make it your go-to productivity app. Since February 2021, Microsoft has combined the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps into a single, iPadOS-optimized app. The applications are locally installed and accessible offline after initial licensing is activated using campus login. See instructions below:

1. Go to App Store and search for 'Microsoft 365 or Office 365'.

2. Click on any desired Office app (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.) then click GET to install.

3. After installation, click on Open to complete the setup.

5. Click Get Started. After a series of prompts, you will be brought to the homepage.

6. Click the circle on the upper left corner and login using your TAMUQ credentials. Note: You will be asked to authenticate using the Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to complete your login.

Note: This process is applicable on any Microsoft 365 applications, you will only need to enter your TAMUQ credentials once and you will be automatically logged in to other Microsoft 365 applications.
