A life cycle model is implemented for all equipment provided by Technology Services - Qatar (desktop, printer, and scanner).
Technology Services no longer provision or replace the laptop computer that we provide. If a replacement is required, you can purchase one using department or research funds. To proceed with the purchase, go to our Portal: https://u.tamu.edu/TAMUQ_items (NetID login required).
All other TAMUQ-issued equipment is replaced at the discretion of Technology Services. All used Technology Services equipment is returned to inventory.
At the end of its useful service life, Technology Services hands all equipment over to Qatar Foundation. No TAMUQ-issued equipment - new or used - can be obtained by an individual using personal funds.
