Description
This document will explain how to set up your TAMUQ email account to automatically forward messages to another email account (such as your TAMU email).
Procedure
1. Go to https://outlook.office.com/ and login with your TAMUQ username and password.
2. In the upper right had corner, click on gear icon and select "Options"
3. From the left menu column, select "Inbox and sweep rules". Then click on plus icon "+" icon to start a new rule filter.
4. A New Inbox Rule window should appear. Under * When the message arrives, and it matches all of these conditions: select [Apply to all messages].
5. In the same window, under Do the following: select "Redirect the message to..."
6. An address book should appear. In the field Redirect the message to : manually enter the email address you wish to forward your TAMUQ mail to. Then click "Save". (In this example MyNetID@tamu.edu is used).
7. You should now be returned to the New Inbox Rule window. Click "OK". Verify that your forwarding address is listed and correct.
8. Ensure that the forward rule is listed on the Top (first) of the list of rules and has a Checkmark next to is (is active).
9. Send a test message to your TAMUQ email to verify the rule is working and your email is forwarding. If so, you have now successfully forwarded your TAMUQ email to another account.
