Description

TAMUQ Technology Services assists in creating and activating visitor accounts for academic programs and departments to allow affiliates or guests access to technology resources.  

This account provides basic access to audio-visual system and lectern computers in lecture halls. Domain resources such as printing and wireless connectivity are not available through this account.

This account has limited access privileges to technology resources and can be shared with your TAMUQ guests. The requester of the account is responsible to keep the password safe and make sure not to leave the password written or displayed after the session.

Procedure

All programs and departments are provisioned with a visitor account. Before requesting a new visitor account, check with your department admin coordinator that a visitor account does not exist. If you are not sure whom to contact from your department, contact Service Desk at servicedesk@qatar.tamu.edu or call 4423-0009.
