TAMUQ Technology Services supports and distributes Adobe Acrobat Pro as the standard PDF solution on all university-owned computers.

Go to https://adobe.com and click “Sign In”with your NetID@tamu.edu email address and click “Continue”. Click on “Company or School Account” to be taken to a Texas A&M branded password page to access your Texas A&M Adobe Creative Cloud account.

Procedures

The article provides steps installing Adobe Creative Cloud on a TAMUQ-managed computer. Eligible employees have two Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. To use this license on a third machine, you will prompted to sign out from of the listed devices to continue.

TAMUQ domain machine

1. Save and close Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, or PowerPoint) .

2. Uninstall previous versions of Adobe, such as Adobe reader or Adobe Acrobat 2020 (go to control panel> Programs and features)

3. From Windows, use the search box, type and run "Software Center"

4. Navigate and install "Adobe Acrobat - Pro"

5. If prompted, restart your computer to complete installation and setup.

Personal device

1. Close Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

2. Uninstall any other version, such as Adobe reader or Adobe Acrobat 2020 (control panel> Programs and features)

3. Go to https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/ and sign in with your TAMUQ E-mail and password.

4. From home, select "Get Acrobat DC desktop"> Run Acrobat.exe

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the download and activate your license.
