TAMUQ IT provides Audiovisual support for events being held on-site at TAMUQ. This service provides setup and initial familiarization of using AV system prior to the event.
Eligibility
Students, Faculty, Staff, and TAMUQ visitors
Request
Requests should be handled through Student Affairs or Events Department workflows. Request for general support to servicedesk@qatar.tamu.edu
• Provide AV equipment for events. Podium, TV screens, audio system.
• Provide setup and support for AV equipment at beginning of events.
Prerequisite
For student events, contact the Department of Student Affairs.
For non-student events, contact the Department of Events and Visitor Relations.
Requests only for events held at TAMUQ.
Policy
Operation of AV equipment is limited to members of the TAMUQ faculty and staff and is intended to be self-service. IT does not provide support for functioning AV equipment during an event. The Service Desk should be contacted during the event only in the case of equipment malfunction. This service does not include being present during the entire event. Any incidents during an event are handled by contacting IT Service desk at 4423-0009 or email servicedesk@qatar.tamu.edu

90% of requests will be fulfilled within three workdays.
