Computer Based Exam Monitoring

Computer based exams can be given with the aid of software for instructors to monitor computers and limit application and website access.
Computer based exams is a service supported by TAMUQ for monitoring and restricting computers during an exam. It is configured on all lab computers and lecterns. The service offers a flexible way to keep a bird's-eye view of student computers. Faculty can use the service to view thumbnails of student screens, block Internet browsing and other distracting applications, disconnect network drives, and blank student screens. The solution has been used extensively at Texas A&M University at Qatar for computer-based exams in the computer labs.
