Civil Rights Case Manager

• The Civil Rights Case Manager, under direction, plays a critical role in the university’s response to allegations of discriminations or harassment based on a protected class, including sexual assault and sexual harassment. The Case Manager reviews all incoming reports and provides objective information about a party’s rights, compassionate and appropriate support and resources, and options for resolving the complaint through the formal or informal processes. The Civil Rights Case Manager supports the mission to create and maintain an environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Civil Rights Investigator

• The Civil Rights Investigator, under direction, is responsible for conducting thorough, unbiased, and prompt investigations of allegations of discrimination or harassment in accordance with University policies, Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Texas state law. Investigations may involve allegations by or against faculty, staff, or students based on a protected class. The Civil Rights Investigator ensures that the University response to civil rights allegations is timely, thorough, and appropriate.

Compliance Officer I P12

• The Compliance Officer I monitors and facilitates compliance with federal, state, and Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) regulatory and governing standards, including but not limited to laws, regulations, statutes, codes, policies, procedures, rules, and directives, as well as compliance own internal and external policies and procedures.

Compliance Officer II

• The Compliance Officer II monitors, develops, executes, and facilitates compliance program with federal, state, and Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) regulatory and governing standards, including but not limited to laws, regulations, statutes, codes, policies, procedures, rules, and directives, as well as compliance own internal and external policies and procedures.

• The Compliance Officer III monitors, develops, executes, facilitates, and oversees compliance programs with federal, state, and Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) regulatory and governing standards, including but not limited to laws, regulations, statutes, codes, policies, procedures, rules, and directives, as well as compliance own internal and external policies and procedures.

• The Legal Assistant I, under general supervision by managing counsel, provides general support to attorneys with a heavy emphasis on providing assistance within respective practice area assignments, file management, legal research, and writing.

• The Legal Assistant II, under general supervision by managing counsel, provides general support to attorneys with a heavy emphasis on providing assistance within respective practice area assignments, file management, legal research, and writing.

Open Records Specialist I

• The Open Records Specialist I, under general direction, is responsible for assisting with daily open records operations and processing routine open records information requests. Texas Public Information Act governs the activity of this position.

Open Records Specialist II

• The Open Records Specialist II, under general direction, is responsible for coordinating and responding to both standard and moderately complex open records requests under the Public Information Act or similar laws.

Open Records Specialist III

• The Open Records Specialist III, under general direction, is responsible for leading and responding to the full spectrum of open records requests under the Public Information Act or similar laws. Responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for open records requests.

Deputy Title IX Coordinator - Case Manager

• The Deputy Title IX Coordinator – Case Manager, under direction, plays a critical role in the response to allegations of discrimination, harassment, or related relations based on a protected class, including sexual assault and sexual harassment. Triages all reports that are submitted and funnels complaints to the appropriate university authority. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator supervises a team of case managers who provide objective information about a party’s rights, connections to support and resources, and options for resolving complaints through the formal or informal processes. Works with faculty, staff, and students on campus and across multiple system agencies.

Hearing Officer

• The Hearing Officer, under general direction, is responsible for conducting hearings related to violations of Student Conduct Code and University policy violations, including those related to Title IX, Title VII, and other Civil Rights laws.
