Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager

• The Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager is responsible for assisting the Athletic Equipment Manager with the management of the apparel and equipment of the assigned Division I sports program(s).

Athletic Equipment Manager

• The Equipment Manager, under general direction, maintains complete oversight of athletic equipment and apparel purchases for intercollegiate sports. Oversees all phases of business contracts as they pertain to athletic equipment and apparel. Performs all duties consistent with the management of a major NCAA Division I Athletic program, including sizing, issuing, maintaining and performing inventory of all equipment. Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all the athletic equipment and apparel budgets for Texas A&M Athletics.

Assistant Head Athletic Trainer

• The Assistant Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering athletic training services to assigned teams including prevention, recognition, evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries; acute care and emergency response to athletic injuries; rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries; and health care administration for the student athletes. Assisting the head athletic trainer with day-to-day management of the athletic training facilities and staff and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Athletic Trainer

• The Athletic Trainer, under direction, is responsible for the prevention, care and treatment of injuries to student-athletes using necessary knowledge of injury patterns and modern principle of athletic training. Collects samples for drug testing. Supervises and educates student athletic trainers.

Associate Athletic Trainer

• The Associate Athletic Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering athletic training services to assigned teams including prevention, recognition, evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries; acute care and emergency response to athletic injuries; rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries; and health care administration for the student athletes.

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

• The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will assist the strength & conditioning staff in all day-to-day operations at the Strength and Conditioning Facility. Practical experiences will include but are not limited to assisting staff in the implementation of the strength & Conditioning program, assisting with athlete assessment, and monitoring protocols, using technology to track and monitor athlete health and workload, leading small groups independently, set up/breakdown of training equipment and assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The role will participate and attend all staff meetings and is required to stay up to date on all training the university requires. This assistant role will actively integrate with the greater TAMU Strength and Conditioning department at the discretion of the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Ability to coach both male and female athletes. Should be familiar with body composition evaluation computerized program development and record keeping.
