New Employee Resources

Overview

The New Employee Resources service provides essential tools and information to help new employees navigate their onboarding process and integrate smoothly into their new roles. This service offers comprehensive resources tailored for staff, student employees, and graduate assistants.

Important Information:

Federal law requires that every employer who hires an individual for employment in the U.S. must complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.

Texas A&M also participates in the E-Verify program, a web-based system that allows enrolled employers to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Use this service request to ask questions about:

  • New Employee Staff Toolkit: Access to resources and guides specifically designed for new staff members.
  • New Student Employee and Graduate Assistants Toolkit: Information and tools to support student employees and graduate assistants in their new roles.
  • New Employee Benefits Orientation Overview for FY24 Video: Details about the New Employee Benefits Orientation, including video overviews and flyers for FY24.
  • Form I-9 Acceptable Documents:  Inquiries regarding the documents that are acceptable for Form I-9 verification.
  • Form I-9 Access Issues: Assistance if you can’t access your I-9 or if the link doesn’t work. A new I-9 link can be sent to you.
