Infoblox - How to add a CNAME

Steps from the video are listed below:

  1. Click on the Data Managment tab.
  2. Click on the DNS tab.
  3. Click on Shared Record Groups.
  4. You may need to use the Filter function if the list is too long.
  5. Select a Record Group and then click the down arrow next to "Add"
  6. Choose "Shared Record" then "Shared CNAME Record".
  7. Add the alias name and canonical name. Infoblox does not automatically add the canonical name.
  8. Click Next to and add any extensible attributes.
  9. Click Next and specify if you would like to create the CNAME now or at a later time.
  10. Then click Save & Close.
