Infoblox - How to Add an MX record

Steps from the video are listed below:

  1. Click on the Data Management tab.
  2. Click on the DNS tab.
  3. Click on Shared Record Groups.
  4. Depending on the listed results you may need to use the Filter to locate the one you want.
  5. Click on the name to enter the record.
  6. Click on the check box to select the record to add the MX Record to.
  7. In the Toolbar choose the down arrow next to add.
  8. Choose "Shared Record" and then "Shared MX Record".
  9. Add the mail destination.
  10. Add a mail exchange as well as a priority. For the Purposes of MX Records, the lower the number, the higher the priority.
  11. Add any relevant extensible attributes.
  12. Click Next to create the MX record, you may select to create it Now, or Later.
  13. The MX Record will now appear in the list.
