1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.

2. Click on the "File" tab in the top-left corner of the window.

3. In the File menu, click on "Account Settings," and then choose "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu.

4. In the Account Settings window, select the email account for which you want to enable cached mode.

5. Click the "Change" button located above the list of email accounts.

6. In the Change Account window, check the box next to "Use Cached Exchange Mode."

7. You can customize the amount of data that Outlook should download for offline use by clicking the "More Settings" button. In the Offline Settings window, adjust the slider to set the desired amount of time or choose "All" to download all data.

8. Click "OK" to close the Offline Settings window.

9. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.

10. Outlook will prompt you to restart the application to apply the changes. Close Outlook and reopen it for the changes to take effect.

1. To find the size of your mailbox, in the Mail view, Right-click your email address > Select "Data File Properties..."​​

2. Click "Folder Size..." at the bottom of the pane.

1. Locate your PST file: The PST file is typically used by Microsoft Outlook to store emails, contacts, and other data. The default location for the PST file is usually in the following directory: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Outlook Files\.

2. Move the PST file to the OneDrive folder: Once you've located your PST file, move it to the OneDrive folder on your computer. By default, the OneDrive folder should be in C:\Users\<username>\OneDrive\. If it's not there, check your OneDrive settings to find the correct location.

3. Sync with OneDrive: After moving the PST file to the OneDrive folder, wait for OneDrive to sync the changes. It may take some time, depending on the size of your PST file and your Internet connection speed.

4. Verify the backup: Once the sync is complete, log in to the OneDrive website using your Microsoft account. Navigate to the OneDrive folder where you placed the PST file, and make sure the file appears there.

By following these steps, your PST file is now backed up to OneDrive, and you can access it from any device with an Internet connection. Remember that it's essential to keep your OneDrive account secure and regularly check that your files are being synced properly to ensure a reliable backup.

1. Log in to Microsoft Outlook 365 https://outlook.office.com. At the sign-in page enter your full campus email address.

2. Switch Accounts. Select your name upper right corner > Open Another Mailbox > Type "shared mailbox address"

3. After your account switch is complete you are now ready to update auto-response.

4. From the top-right menu, select the Gear icon for settings. At the bottom part of the drop menu, select View all Outlook settings. 

5. Under Mail settings, select Automatic replies. 

6. Slide the button to turn on automatic replies. 

7. Once automatic replies are turned on, you can now modify the time period and the people who will receive your emails. 

8. After completing your preferred settings for automatic replies, click on Save.

2. From the left navigation page, select "Lists"

3. From "My lists", select "Blocked Senders List". Then click on "New" to bring up the input box for entering "email or domain" address that you want to add. Click "Save"

This will update your blocked senders list and can be updated later.

To access a shared mailbox on a mobile device, use the following steps. 

1. Sign in to your primary account in Outlook for iOS or Android.
2. Tap the Add Account button in the left navigation pane, then tap Add a Shared Mailbox. 

3. If you have multiple accounts in Outlook Mobile, select the account that has permissions to access the shared mailbox. 

After the account setup process completes, the shared mailbox will display in your account list in Outlook for iOS or Outlook for Android. 

To remove a shared mailbox, go to Settings > Accounts. Then tap on the shared mailbox and select Delete Account.

This article shows how to access a shared mailbox through Outlook Web App (OWA).

1. Open https:\\outlook.office.com and log in with your TAMUQ username and password. 

2. On the navigation pane, right-click on "Folders" and select "Add shared folder."

3. Type the name or the email address of the shared mailbox (John.Doe@qatar.tamu.edu). Then click Add. 

Note: This article shows how to add and access a shared mailbox or calendar in Outlook from a Macintosh device.

1. Open Outlook, go to File > Open > Other User's Folder.

2. From Open Other User's Folder window, type the shared mailbox email address on the search box.

3. In the Type box, select Inbox from the dropdown list. Then click on Open.

4. If you want to access the calendar, select the calendar from the type dropdown list. Then click on Open. 

To send an email from the shared mailbox, follow the instructions below.

1. Open Outlook.

2. Select New Email.

3. If you don't see the From field at the top of your message, choose Options > From.

4. Click the From in the message, and change it to the shared email address. If you don't see your shared email address, choose Other email address and type in the shared email address.

5. Select OK.

6. Type your message and Send.

After this, the shared email will be available in your dropdown list whenever you want to send a message. Likewise, whenever you send a message from your shared mailbox, your recipients will only see the shared email address in the message.

Export or back-up email, contacts and calendar items in Classic Outlook. 

Note: Exporting and importing a mailbox or calendar using a .pst file is currently not supported in new Outlook at this time.
