Texas A&M at Qatar Exchange Email is a messaging and collaboration service, which features email, calendars, contacts, and tasks. Microsoft Exchange allows users to access critical business communications almost whenever and wherever they need to with greater security and reliability. Exchange supports distribution groups, shared calendars and contacts, email aliases, and role-based mailboxes for rooms and resources. IT on-premise exchange service also supports web access to TAMUQ email through https://outlook.office.com. This website allows users to access their university email from anywhere in the world from any device with an internet connection and modern web browser.

Prerequisite
Students requesting distribution list or additional mailbox must obtain approval from a faculty or staff.
Policy
TAMUQ IT provides students and employees email addresses. There are storage quotas in place for each data storage location. Student mailboxes are limited in size. At 9.5GB, the student will receive an email warning. At 10GB, the mailbox will be disabled. Create an E-mail Alias: The requestor must be the designated owner of the mailbox. The alias must not exist somewhere else in the organization. E-mail alias name may be changed by IT Management in order to conform to standard practices. All e-mail alias requests are subject to IT management approval and may also be subject to immediate supervisor approval.
SLA
90% of requests will be fulfilled within two workdays.
