Computing equipment in stock

Description

This article shows the process on purchasing a computing device from Technology Services inventory and the available hardware devices.

Procedures

  1. The requestor will select the preferred hardware device.
  2. The requestor will submit a purchase request to our TAMUQ Portal indicating the preferred device, office number, account number, and business justification.
  3. Technology Services will review the submitted request.
  4. Technology Services will get the approval from the account custodian.
  5. Once the request is approved by the account custodian, Technology Services will get the approval from Purchasing.
  6. After the approval from Purchasing, Technology Services will prepare the machine and schedule the computer installation.
