Description
This article shows the process on purchasing a computing device from Technology Services inventory and the available hardware devices.
The requestor must be a full-time faculty, staff or a researcher. Users with TAMUQ Adjunct Faculty/Professor or Lecturer appointments, visiting scholars, graduate assistants, and graduate students are not eligible to submit a purchase request.
Procedures
- The requestor will select the preferred hardware device.
- The requestor will submit a purchase request to our TAMUQ Portal indicating the preferred device, office number, account number, and business justification.
- Technology Services will review the submitted request.
- Technology Services will get the approval from the account custodian.
- Once the request is approved by the account custodian, Technology Services will get the approval from Purchasing.
- After the approval from Purchasing, Technology Services will prepare the machine and schedule the computer installation.
