TAMUQ Duo Multi-Factor Authentication User Guide

1. Download the Duo Mobile appfrom Apple Store or Google Play Store. 

2. Login to any Duo 2FA-enabled TAMUQ resources (https://tamuq.onelogin.com ) then type your TAMUQ credentials. 

3. From the browser screen, click Start setup.

4. Select device type – Mobile phone. TS recommends enrolling Duo to multiple devices.

5. Search for your country (Qatar). Enter your Qatar number. Then click Continue. 

6. Click on the Tick box to confirm the number you entered. Then click Continue. 

7. Verify the number. You will receive an SMS to your registered mobile number. Enter the 6-digit code. Click Verify and then hit Continue. 

OR  scan the QR Code (tap the + sign on your mobile device).

8. See the Duo Settings. Select your authentication method. Then click Continue to Login. 

9. Choose your authentication method – Push notification OR Enter a Passcode. 

To enroll in an additional device, please have a previously enrolled device in hand, then open a new browser session or private browser.

If you opted to store Duo from a previous login, then you MUST run your browser in private mode. For example Chrome (incognito) or Edge (inPrivate). You can also clear your browser cache for use without using private mode. 

1. Login with your TAMUQ Username and Password  https://tamuq.onelogin.com 

2. From the Duo prompt screen, expand the Settings option.

3. Select Add a new device

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your new device. 

To reactivate your Duo on your mobile device using the same registered number, return to the login window for any DUO-enabled applications. (Ex. Outlook or Onelogin) 

1. Login with your TAMUQ Username and Password  https://tamuq.onelogin.com 

2. From the Duo prompt screen, expand the Settings option > My Settings & Devices 


 

3. Press Enter a passcode. From the blue ribbon prompt press Text me new codes and use the codes received to login. 


 

4. Click on the Gear icon beside your mobile number and select Reactivate Duo Mobile. 


 

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reactivate your Duo mobile. 

AnyConnect VPN is a Duo-enabled application that does not support inline prompts. Some devices may immediately work using push notification or re-activation. However, these may still fail due to issues with the device or telecom provider. To address the problem, use the Append-Push method to authenticate using AnyConnect VPN. Please use the append method below:
