Job Application Status Request

Overview
The Job Application Status Request service allows employees and applicants to inquire about the current status of their job applications. This service provides updates on application progress, interview scheduling, and final decisions.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Check Application Status: Get updates on where your application stands in the review process.
  • Check Background Check Status: Get updates on the status of your background check in the review process.
  • Check Reference Status:  Get updates on the status of your reference check in the review process.
  • Feedback on Application: Ask for feedback on your application to understand areas of improvement or to address incomplete applications.
  • Hiring Questions: Inquire about the next steps in the hiring process or any hiring questions you may have, like the types of tests allowed for applicants, such as skills assessment tests or job knowledge tests.
  • Job Inquiry: Get assistance with finding what positions may be available and express interest in jobs. Attach your resume.
  • Request Assistance: Seek help with any part of the application process, including form completion, understanding application requirements in Workday, or accepting offer letters.
  • Third-Party Vendor Submissions: Report issues with third-party vendors submitting resumes on behalf of candidates (e.g., PostJobFree).
  • Update Application, Resume, or Cover Letter: Once the candidate submits their application, they cannot go back in to make changes (e.g., address, zip code). However, you are able to make updates in your attached resume or cover letter. Submit a revised resume or cover letter for a job application you have already completed. Attach the documents and provide the specific job title and/or requisition number.
  • Withdraw or Reactivate Application: Request to withdraw your application or have it reconsidered if it was withdrawn accidentally.
Eligibility
All employees and external applicants who have submitted job applications to the university are eligible to use this service.

You will receive an open ticket notification.  If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by the respective support team.  Ticket status can be tracked in the portal under the View Tickets tab.
