Checking References

Overview
The Checking References service allows hiring managers to request through their HR professionals a reference request to their chosen candidate using the Xref online reference checking platform. This process helps ensure the quality of hiring decisions by gaining insights into a candidate’s previous professional performance.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Initiate Reference Checks: Start the reference check process by providing the candidate’s name, email address, and phone number to your assigned HR Customer Service group.
  • Monitor Reference Checks: Track the progress of reference checks and receive alerts for any unusual activity.
Eligibility
All hiring managers and HR professionals involved in the recruitment process are eligible to use this service.

You will receive an open ticket notification.  If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by the respective support team.  Ticket status can be tracked in the portal under the View Tickets tab.
