Move Workers (Supervisory Change)

Overview
The Move Workers (Supervisory Change) service facilitates updating an employee’s reporting structure in Workday by transferring them between supervisory organizations without a change in their position details, ensuring accurate alignment with their new manager and organizational structure.  If an employee will be moving to another System Member, use the Change Job business process.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Transferring Employees in Workday: Guidance on how to move employees between organizations using the Change Job business process within Workday.
  • Supervisory Organization Changes: Information on updating supervisory organizations to reflect new reporting structures.
  • Approval and Verification: Ensuring the move is properly approved and verified in Workday.
Eligibility
This service is available to employees needing to change who an employee reports to in Workday.
