We provide comprehensive benefits information and resources to faculty, staff, graduate students, retirees, eligible dependents, and survivors.  This includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. This service helps employees understand and ask questions regarding their benefits options.  A general overview of TAMUS insurance policies is provided in Benefits at a Glance.

Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • New Employee Benefits:  Information for new benefit-eligible employees, including benefits at a glance, enrollment booklets, and tips.
  • Change Your Benefits:  Information on how to change your benefits including details on Open Enrollment and Qualifying Life Events.
  • Living Well at Texas A&M:  Resources and opportunities for faculty and staff to thrive, including exercise classes, wellness programs, and family resources.
  • Insurance and Health:  Overview of health insurance, prescription drugs, dental, hearing, vision plans, and flexible spending accounts for Texas A&M employees. 
  • Open Enrollment:  Details on the annual Open Enrollment period, including dates, how to change coverage, enroll in new benefits, and renew flexible spending accounts.
  • Employee Benefits Guide:  Overview of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, retirement programs, and wellness resources.
  • Eligible Dependents:  Your insurance can cover eligible dependents such as spouses, common-law partners, and children up to the age of 26.
Eligibility
Staff, Faculty, and Graduate Assistant employees working 50% effort or more for 4.5 months or longer, are eligible to participate in Texas A&M University System sponsored, health, dental, vision, life, dependent life, flexible spending accounts, long term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment plans.

  • Benefits at a Glance:  Concise overview of benefits available to employees including health insurance, retirement plans, and various wellness programs.
  • Carrier Contact Information:  Provides claims addresses, customer service phone numbers, and plan contact information for all plan administrator
  • Employee Premiums Full-Time and Part-Time 12 Mo:  Outlines the insurance premium rates for benefits-eligible full-time and part-time 12 Month employees within the Texas A&M University System.
  • Employee Premiums Full-Time 9 Mo:  Outlines the insurance premium rates for benefits-eligible full-time 9 Month employees, participating in the 12 over 9 program within the Texas A&M University System.
  • Retiree Premiums:  Provides detailed information on the insurance premium rates for retirees within the Texas A&M University System.
  • View My Current Benefit Elections in Workday:  Directs you to the Benefit Elections page in Workday, where you can find detailed information about l the benefits you are currently enrolled in.
