Ask an International Employee Question

Overview
The International Employee Resources service provides essential information and support for international employees at Texas A&M University. This service helps international hires navigate the requirements for employment eligibility, including obtaining a Social Security Number (SSN) and maintaining work authorization.
Use this service request to ask questions about:
  • Form I-9 and E-Verify: Guidance on completing Form I-9 and submitting information to E-Verify, including the requirement for a Social Security Number.
  • Glacier: Assistance with the Glacier system for tax compliance for non-resident aliens.
  • Social Security Number (SSN): Ask about obtaining an SSN, including the 45-day period for new hires to obtain their SSN and notify their HR contact.
  • Work Authorization Expiration: Support for tracking and renewing work authorization to ensure continuous employment eligibility.
  • Employment Authorization Document (EAD): Guidance on updating required EAD documentation in Workday.
  • Change My Governmental IDs:  Takes you into Workday to make any updates to your ID information.
Eligibility
All international employees, hiring managers, and HR representatives at Texas A&M University who need assistance with employment eligibility and related processes are eligible to use this service.
