Introduction
If you are having issues connecting to the TAMU_Wifi network and have tried this article for connecting on your devices and the wifi is still not working then you can also try using our provision tool to try and connect to the wifi.
Instructions
1. Go to the website u.tamu.edu/provision on the device that is getting errors when connecting to the TAMU_Wifi network.
- You will need to have internet access so we recommend using data for your mobile data for phones and connecting to ethernet on laptops or desktops.
2. On the page make sure to select which device you are installing on where it says "Select your device:" it should automatically detect your device but check to make sure it identified it correctly. Then hit the "JoinNow" button.
3. It will start the download for the Provision tool software which should appear where ever it normally does for your device.(Windows in the bottom left, Mac in the top right, phone at the bottom of the screen) Once its downloaded then open up the file to start it.
4. An application window will popup that says Texas A&M University at the top and it will ask you to enter your netid and neitd password. This should be the part of your email before the @tamu.edu. Your netid is not your UIN number!

5. After entering your login information and hitting "Next" it will say "Configuring..." and then it will Authenticate with the connection server and then it will join the TAMU_Wifi network from there and you should be connected. If you still run into issues then we recommend you either give us a call or come to the helpdesk. Directions for contact are listed here.
