TAMU WiFi for macOS

Introduction

This document will explain how to connect to TAMU_WiFi on a Mac computer. 

You will need the following information to set up TAMU_WiFi on your computer.

  • Username: your NetID
  • Password: your NetID password

NOTE: The screenshots you will see are from the latest macOS version Monterey. If you are using an earlier version of the operating system, the steps will be the same but may look different. 

  1. Locate the WiFi icon on the menu bar located at the top of your Mac's desktop.


     
  2. Click on the WiFi icon and you will see a list of networks appear. Please click on TAMU_WiFi from the list of available networks .


     
  3. Enter your NetID for the "Username" field and your NetID password for the "Password" field. Make sure to check the box for "Remember this network" so that your Mac will connect to the WiFi network whenever it is detected.


     
  4. Make sure to accept the certificate by hitting continue

  5. You should now be connected to "TAMU_WiFi".
