TAMU-Health AggieBuy Purchasing Procedures

NOTE: Refer to the Minimum Specifications Guideline from Texas A&M Health IT. Additionally, in accordance with the Digital Resource Procurement Guideline, all equipment purchases must be coordinated through your local IT support by emailing HealthTechCare@tamu.edu prior to initiating a purchase. 

Browsing Recommended Hardware Available in AggieBuy

  1. Log in through TAMUS Single Sign On
  2. Select AggieBuy in the SSO Menu
  3. Vendors in AggieBuy are categorized by the types of items they sell; the particular "PunchOut" will open in a new window:
    a. For Dell products, select Summus Industries: Dell HUB Partner under the Computers/Technology section
    b. For Microsoft products, select 12th Man Technology: HUB Reseller Apple/PC Products under the Computers/Technology section
    c. For Apple products, select 12th Man Technology: HUB Reseller Apple/PC Products under the Computers/Technology section

Ordering through Dell Premier

  1. Follow Step 3a above, which will open the Dell Premier "PunchOut" in a new window with authentication provided through AggieBuy
  2. Click the Filter By button to categorize preconfigured items by the TAM Health Science Center
  3. Browse the Standard Configurations for the equipment you want to order and add the items to your cart
  4. After adding items to your cart, Create an Order Requisition to directly purchase items through your department's authorized purchaser; alternatively, Save as an eQuote to save a configuration quote as an email, printout, or PDF to consult with an IT Technician by contacting HealthTechCare@tamu.edu
