Single Sign On - Using Microsoft Azure Login

Overview

Multiple Texas A&M services including https://canvas.tamu.edu and Microsoft 365 authenticate TAMU students, faculty, and staff through Microsoft Azure single sign on. When logging in using Azure, your username must be in the format of NetID@tamu.edu. Other variations of your email address will not work.

Login method

  1. Go to https://canvas.tamu.edu. This screen should display.

  2. Enter your NetID@tamu.edu. You cannot use an alias or alternate email address that routes to your inbox.

  3. Enter your NetID password. This will be the same password used for logging into Howdy.

  4. Authenticate using Duo.

  5. You can click yes to reduce the number of times you need to sign in.
