Canvas - Missing Course Section

Overview

Once you officially enroll into a course using the student information system via the Howdy web portal your enrollment into the Canvas course will begin to process. This process can take up to 24-48 hours to complete. 

Considerations

• Canvas courses are not automatically Published. This means even though your enrollment is successful into the Canvas course, it may not appear on your Canvas Dashboard and you will not be able to access the course.
• Any course that is not Published will appear in the Future Enrollments section of the Courses menu.
• Typically, professors will publish the course anywhere from a few days prior to the course, until a few days after the start. Please contact the instructor for information on when they will make the course available in Canvas.
• If  you do not see the course after 48 hours of enrolling into it via the Howdy web portal or believe you should have access, please contact support@instructure.com to initiate a request to investigate why you do not see your course in Canvas.
• If you suspect that your access to the Canvas course has been removed due to non-payment or other reasons, please contact registration@tamu.edu.
