Overview
There are various types of position changes that can be made for an employee, such as adjustments to the Annual Work Period (AWP) or Percent Effort (Full Time Equivalent (FTE)). These employee status changes refer to modifications in an employee's job details that ensure their status accurately reflects their current role and responsibilities. This includes changes in job title, work period changes, and other employment conditions.

Eligibility
Eligibility and approval for employee status changes will depend on the specific circumstances and type of change. Managers must work with their designated HR professional to obtain all necessary approvals. The HR professional will assist in determining the appropriate updates and ensure all required documentation is complete. All changes must be approved through the appropriate administrative channels before being entered into Workday.
