Part-Time On-Campus Student Employment

Overview

Texas A&M University’s Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) supports the educational goals of undergraduate and graduate students by providing access to employment opportunities. We maintain an online job database and offer training for students, supervisors, and human resource professionals.

Student employees, whether undergraduate or graduate, can develop career readiness skills, establish a campus-wide network, and earn money to cover expenses through part-time employment. Students seeking part-time jobs can use the Jobs for Aggies Job Board, set up interviews with job supervisors, and, if hired, work with HROE to complete the hiring process.

Students are recommended to work no more than 29 hours per week. On-campus student employees are paid bi-weekly through direct deposit and are not eligible for fringe benefits like holidays, vacation, or sick pay.
