Change Your Benefits

Overview

This service allows you to change your benefits in Workday. To complete a benefit change, you may need to provide supporting documentation such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, or proof of loss of other coverage through HRConnect Legacy in SSO. These documents help verify the qualifying life event and ensure that your benefit changes are processed accurately and promptly.

Eligibility

Benefit eligible employees, retirees, and graduate fellows are eligible to make a change to their benefits within 31 days of a qualifying life event. Qualifying life events are outlined here. Life insurance, beneficiaries, and supplemental retirement accounts may be changed at any time during the year without a qualifying life event.
