Can Webinars be sent out to outside people?
Texas A&M's Microsoft Teams environment allows external users to attend Live Events and Webinars.
What restrictions by HR or permissions from participants might be required for recording a meeting, if any?
When a recording is started, a banner appears accoss the top informing everyone in the meeting is being recorded. They will have the option to leave the meeting or object at that time. Talk to your HR representative to find out about specific organization requirements beyond that notification.
Can attendees see your meeting notes?
Yes, attendees can see the meeting notes.
Does each participant control the opportunity to turn on live caption; it is not controlled by the host?
Live captions are controlled by individuals.
Is recording controlled by the host, or is that an individual choice?
For recordings, only Organizers and Presenters can control recording. Attendees cannot control recording. Recordings are owned by the organizer.
Are you able to set up breakout rooms before the meeting, with room names?
Yes, if you are the Organizer you can create the rooms whenever you want.
Does the organizer have the ability to record inside each of the breakout rooms?
Yes, the organizer can go start the recording or give the presenters the ability to record.
Does the attendance record show only if they attended or when they arrived and departed?
It will show everything, including when they arrived and departed.
Is the attendance record only available if you use the recording feature?
It is always available.
