Logging into the Central Authentication Service

Overview

The new Central Authentication Service (CAS) login system features separate pages two enter your username and password. By putting these fields on separate pages, Texas A&M Technology Services can provide better security and feedback for your account. For example: If a user account has been compromised, a warning can be displayed after entering the username, but before the password is entered.

Instructions

  1. When presented with a CAS login page, enter your user name as either your NetID or your Texas A&M Email Address. You can proceed to the password screen by clicking Next or pressing Enter on your keyboard. Valid Texas A&M Email Addresses that can be used to log in are those ending with:
    1. email.tamu.edu
    2. exchange.tamu.edu
    3. pvamu.edu
    4. students.pvamu.edu
    5. tamu.edu
  2. Enter your NetID password and then click on Next or press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. If you use Duo 2-Factor authentication, provide your authentication as normal.
