Backing up Adobe Creative Cloud Files

Overview

This guide walks you through downloading and backing up all your files stored in Adobe Creative Cloud to your local device for safekeeping.

Instructions

  1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud:
    1. Launch the Creative Cloud Desktop Application or go to ​​adobe.com/files .
       
  2. Navigate to 'Files':
    1. Click on ‘Files’ from the left sidebar.

       
  3. Select a files:
    1. You can select multiple files for download using the Creative Cloud Desktop Application, but must select one file at a time to download from adobe.com/files.
    2. To download files inside folders, open the folder and select the individual files.
    3. Adobe Express files cannot be downloaded directly and must be converted to another file type using Adobe Express for download.
  4. Download Files:
    1. With all file(s) selected, click the 'Download' button at the bottom of the screen.

    2. Select a directory to download files.

Important notes:

  • All files will be processed and downloaded individually
  • Download time depends on number and size of files
  • Ensure sufficient storage space in your chosen directory
  • You can continue using other applications while downloading
  1. Verify your backup:
    • Check the download folder to confirm all files transferred successfully
    • Consider organizing files into folders by project or date
