Request an Azure Subscription

Purpose

Use this process to request an Azure subscription that will be used to bill Power Platform Pay-as-you-Go (PAYG) usage (including Copilot Credits) or other cloud workloads.

How to request

Email cloudops@tamu.edu with your request.

Be prepared to provide:

• Department/unit and primary contact.
• Desired subscription name and billing owner/cost center (if known).
• Intended use (e.g., Power Platform PAYG for Course XYZ, research project, departmental app).
• Any security/compliance needs (data classification, special networking, etc.).

What you get

• An Azure subscription under Technology Services governance.
• A Resource Group ready for Power Platform PAYG.
• Support from the Cloud Operations team for setup and best practices.
