Overview
Here are the instructions on how to configure an Xbox to the ResNet network on Campus.
Instructions
- Once you have booted up the Xbox head to: Settings > Network > Advanced Settings
- Under Advanced Settings locate the "Wired MAC Address"
- On a different device open a web browser and head to resnet.tamu.edu to register your Xbox's MAC Address.
- Click "Register your Device" and follow the next prompts.
- Input the MAC Address we found earlier in Advanced settings and select "Register"
- Once you have registered the Xbox, unplug the ethernet cable from it.
- Power down the Xbox, wait for it to completely turn off then plug the ethernet cable back in.
- Wait about a minute to make sure ResNet fully registers the device then turn it back on.
And the Xbox should now be connected to ResNet!
