Zoom Large Meeting Licenses

Zoom Large Meeting Licenses

While some large meeting licenses (500 or 1000) are automatically assigned, if an instructor combines sections or courses that bring their enrolled students beyond the standard 300 person Zoom license's capacity, they will ask the Office for Academic Innovation or Help Desk Central to increase their limit. The following information will need to be obtained from the campus member that is requesting the zoom license capacity change:

  1. Name and NetID email of the instructor tied to the course
  2. Course name and Course ID
  3. Total number of enrollments in that course
  4. The large meeting license requested (500 or 1000)

Requests for a large meeting license for academic purposes (for a course), should be forwarded to the Office for Academic Innovation who will verify the need in the LMS then send the request to zoom-requests@tamu.edu

Any request that falls outside of the purview of the Office for Academic Innovation will need to be forwarded to Help Desk Central so that they can provide license and increased purchase options to the campus member.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office for Academic Innovation by email (aihelp@tamu.edu) or phone ((979) 458-3417).
