How to Use the Knowledge Base to Find Answers

Access the Knowledge Base

Access the Knowledge Base by clicking the Open Knowledge Base button on the IT Service Portal homepage or clicking Knowledge Base in the maroon navigation bar.

Search the Knowledge Base

You can search the Knowledge Base in several ways:

  • Click the Search link in the gray menu bar to search for a specific topic.
    • You can also click the globe button in the top right of the portal and select Knowledge Base. Enter a search query and click the search button.
  • Browse categories and articles within them from the Knowledge Base’s main page.
  • Click Popular Articles, Recent Articles or Popular Tags in the right sidebar.
