AggiePrint - Unable to Print ("Internal server error, please submit to another device.")

Overview

When using the AggiePrint service, you may receive the error message "Internal server error, please submit to another device."

Cause and Resolution

This error message is most frequently caused by:

  • Submitting a file type not supported by AggiePrint.
  • Submitting a file whose print size is not supported by AggiePrint.
  • Submitting a file with an unsupported file attribute enabled.

To avoid this error:

  • Make sure you are submitting files in a supported file type (.docx, .xlsx, .pdf, etc).
  • Make sure your files are a supported print size. All AggiePrint printers can print U.S. Letter size (8.5" x 11.0")  files. 
    • AggiePrint does not support "A" format paper sizes (A4, A5, etc.).
    • Multifunction printers at the SCC and AGLS room 130 support U.S. Legal size (8.5" x 14.0") and/or U.S. Ledger size (11.0" x 17.0") size files.
  • Make sure your file does not have 'collate' as an attribute, printers on campus are unable to collate.
