How to Print from an iOS Device Using the Pharos Print App

  1. From the iTunes App Store, download the Pharos Print App (free). [fig. 01]

  1. In the host box, enter: tamu.edu. In the port box, enter: 443. [fig. 02]

  1. In the login box, using your login credentials, enter your NetID and your NetID password. Then, tap Log On. [fig. 03]

  1. Once you have logged in, on your mobile device, locate the document that you wish to print. Regardless of the application, open it, and tap the Share Next, choose the Open in Pharos Print option. [fig. 04]

  1. You will then be directly taken to the Pharos Print App. If you wish to modify the settings for your print job (B/W or color, single or duplexing, pages per slide, and number of copies), make your changes by individually tapping on the four icons. Then, tap Apply Changes. [fig. 05]

  1. To add more files, repeat steps 4-5. Alternatively, you may email your print materials to aggieprint@tamu.edu. After you have uploaded all files and verified all changes, Pharos will update those changes in the queue. [fig. 06]

  1. You may now log off. From the top left corner, tap the Settings Then, tap Log Off. [fig. 07]

  1. To release the print job(s), please visit any of the on campus print kiosk stations.
