Multisim - License number not working

Issue

Campus member was having issue setting up Multisim on her laptop. When she would enter her license number provided by the software center it would not authenticate and thus she was unable to launch the program.

Environment

• OS: Windows 10
• Application: National Instruments Multisim Circuit Design 

Resolution

  1. Remove the program using the National Instruments uninstaller tool that can be found in the Add or Remove Programs section in Settings of Windows.
  2. Run CCleaner off of TechFlash to clean any missing registry files, temporary files, etc.
  3. Download the program again with the original link sent from TAMU software
  4. Campus Member should be able to run the program now
