NOTE: Please be aware that uninstalling the Twingate client requires administrative privileges on your device. If you encounter any issues during the uninstallation process, please contact your IT department for assistance, or elevate your permissions to administrator. Mac users can using JAMF/Priviledges, but Admin by Request for Windows is still in pilot testing
Using the Twingate Installer
- Open Twingate Windows Installer from file explorer.
- Select Remove from the Twingate Change, Repair, or remove installation screen.

- Once again, select Remove from the Ready to remove Twingate screen.

- Select Finish.

Using Windows' App Manager
Removing Twingate via the Windows App Manager requires administrator privileges. You must use either an admin account or use Admin By Request to elevate your account before proceeding.
- Click the Start Menu > Settings > Apps
- Click the three dots to the right of the Twingate and select Uninstall.
- Enter your username and password. If you are given an error that "This requested operations requires elevation," click No to end the uninstall process and elevate your account using Admin By Request before trying again.
- Follow the Windows prompts to uninstall Twingate.
