The reauthentication process in the Twingate application on both Windows and Mac devices is designed to maintain secure and uninterrupted access to network resources. This process typically occurs when session tokens expire, or if the application detects a change in the device's security posture.
If the Twingate Client shows a gray dot in the task bar (see below), it simply means that you are trying to access a Resource and need to re-authenticate before you can connect to that Resource. If this happens, simply click on the gray dot then click on “Additional Authentication Needed” to be prompted for your credentials.
