Jamf Connect Feature Overview
On the Jamf Connect login screen, there are three Jamf Connect specific controls located on the top right in the Login Window menu bar.
- Local Login: Allows you to log-in using your local computer account password without authenticating with your NetID.
- Refresh: Reloads the NetID sign-in window.
- Help Icon: Opens Help Desk Central’s homepage.

Logging in with Local Login
- On the Jamf Connect login screen, select the Local Login button.
- Select your user account.

- Once selected, log-in with your local account password.

Logging in with NetID
On the Jamf Connect login screen, sign in with your NetID email and password. After successful authentication, Jamf Connect will log you into your local macOS account.
Due to a compatibility issue between TAMU_WiFi and macOS, the network cannot be authenticated from the Jamf Connect login screen. If your computer has already authenticated to TAMU_WiFi previously, this will not cause any issues. If not, this will not prevent you from singing into the computer. You can use Local Login or connect to another network. Once you are logged in, you can authenticate to TAMU_WiFi normally.
