Overview
Texas A&M Exchange Email is an email service provided by the Texas A&M Technology Services. It can be accessed online at https://outlook.office.com/ as well as by desktop and mobile email clients. For iOS, the Outlook app can be used to access the Texas A&M Exchange Email servers.
Removing Exchange from Outlook on iOS
Removing your Exchange account from your email client will remove only the information stored on your local device. Email that is stored on the Exchange server will not be deleted by this process.
- Open your Exchange account in the Outlook app for iOS.
- Tap the account icon in the upper left of the screen.
- Tap the Settings Gear Icon in the lower left of the screen.
- Tap on your Exchange account.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Re-Adding Exchange to Outlook on iOS
When setting up your Exchange account, it may take several minutes for email and calendar items to appear in your client. This is normal.
If you choose to store your email on your device instead of, or in addition to, the online server make sure you are connected to a WiFi connection before continuing to avoid using cellular data.
- Enter your NetID@tamu.edu in the Email Address field.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Office 365 for the email provider.
- Enter your NetID.
- Tap Next.
- Enter your NetID password.
- Tap Sign In.
- Authenticate with Duo.
- Tap Maybe Later to go to your Exchange account.
