Overview
Where possible, Texas A&M applications and services should use NetID for authentication. There are a number of technologies which can be used to integrate NetIDs for use as the authentication credential, such as: LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) Active Directory (on-premise) CAS & Shibboleth (for CAS or SAML protocol) Microsoft Entra ID (for OIDC & SAML protocols)
